Dining Tables
Where Memories are Made
No matter your space, lifestyle, or aesthetic, there's a table shape that can elevate your dining experience and seamlessly fit your home's design.
Throughout our design process, we will ask you to consider table’s functionality, how many people you typically host, and the overall aesthetic of your dining area to choose the perfect size for your space. In the end, the right dinner table enhances not just your home’s design but your dining experience, whether you’re enjoying a quiet meal or celebrating with a crowd.

Our Dining Tables
Dining tables are more than just a functional piece of furniture. They are the centre of the home where memories are made. We gather around the dining table not just to eat but also host to evening homework, art projects or presentations, family meetings, celebrations of family Christmas gatherings, birthdays, game nights, and special occasions.

All Shapes and Sizes
When it comes to selecting the right dinner table, size plays a crucial role in both functionality and ambiance. The right table not only sets the tone for your meals but also enhances the overall dining experience.
Design Style and Functionality
Which Shape is Right for You?
The shape of your table affects both the aesthetic and functionality of your dining space. Let’s take a look at which table shape works best based on your needs:
- Round tables are ideal if you value intimacy and a flexible seating arrangement, perfect for smaller spaces;
- Square tables offer modern appeal with symmetry and can accommodate small to medium gatherings. They are great for minimalist or contemporary homes; and,
- Rectangular tables are best for those who host large gatherings and need more seating flexibility, offering a classic and formal feel.

Round & Oval
Dining Tables
Best for Intimate gatherings, smaller spaces, and versatile design.

Round tables are a classic choice for those seeking a more balanced dining experience. With no corners, everyone sits evenly around the table, encouraging conversation and connection. Their compact shape makes them ideal for smaller spaces like apartments or kitchens, where maximising space is essential.
Benefits of round tables include:
- With no head of the table, everyone sits equally, creating a more inclusive and interactive atmosphere;
- Round tables can be better for smaller rooms because they don’t have sharp corners that can obstruct traffic flow; and,
- They are great for accommodating odd numbers of guests or adding extra chairs if needed, as the seating arrangement can be more fluid.
Round tables are great for small families, couples, and those who prefer a cosy and social dining experience.

Square Dining Tables
Best for modern aesthetics, smaller groups, and versatile layouts.

Square tables offer a sleek and modern design that’s perfect for smaller dining areas or rooms with a minimalist aesthetic. They are ideal for seating 4 people comfortably but can be expanded for larger groups with the addition of extension leaves. Square tables are also easier to pair with other furniture and can fit into corners or against walls without disrupting the room’s flow.
Benefits of square tables include:
- Their sharp, clean lines give a contemporary and structured look to your space;
- A square table can often be pushed together with another square or rectangular table to create a larger surface when hosting; and,
- Ideal for smaller families or intimate dinner parties, they fit neatly in kitchens or small dining rooms
Best for those with a modern, minimalist design approach or anyone with a small family or a couple of guests.

Best for larger gatherings, traditional designs, and formal settings.

Rectangular tables are a classic choice that works well for both large and small dining areas. The long shape allows for a more formal and structured seating arrangement, making them perfect for hosting large dinner parties, family gatherings, or special occasions. These tables can be as compact or expansive as needed, offering plenty of options for customisation and extensions.
Benefits of rectangle tables include:
- Ideal for larger families or those who frequently entertain guests, as they offer ample space for multiple people to sit comfortably;
- The elongated design suits more traditional dining rooms, adding an air of sophistication and formality to any setting; and,
- The rectangular shape offers you the flexibility with an extension, to adjust the table size as needed, whether you’re hosting an intimate dinner or a grand feast.
Best for large families, formal dinners, and people who entertain often. A classic choice for those with a more traditional dining room setup or who value versatility and ample seating.

Considerations Beyond Size
your unique needs, space, and lifestyle.

Measure Your Area
Measure your dining area to ensure the table doesn’t overcrowd the room, leaving space for easy movement.

Classic v Space
Rectangular tables are classic, while round tables can offer a more intimate feel and make better use of space in smaller rooms.

Other Options
Extendable tables allow you to adjust the size as needed. This is a great option for those who occasionally host larger groups but prefer a smaller setup day-to-day.
